Photo Plus Canon Edition

On a tighter budget, our recommendation would be to buy the Canon-fit  edition of the Tamron SP AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD. This lens has a highly effective four-stop optical stabiliser and fast, near-silent ultrasonic autofocus. Image quality is very impressive. It was the winner in our recent Super Test of budget telephoto lenses, back in issue 70.
